Dictionary

Attached Department
means the department as defined in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Rules of Business, 1985.
Appointing Authority
means the officer or authority designated as such in the Service Rules framed by the government for the post.
Commission
means the North-West Frontier Province Public Service Commission.
Member
means the Member of the Commission and includes the Chairman
Department
means a department as defined in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Rules of Business, 1985.
Departmental Representative
means the senior officer of the department of the government to which post/s relates and who assist the Committee / Panel of the Commission for conducting the viva-voce / interview.
Subject Specialist
means the advisor called for interview by the Commission from the University / Colleges / Institutions / Autonomous Bodies / Retired Officer directly or through the Head of Department.
Government
means the Government of North-West Frontier Province.
Committee
means the Committee or Panel of one or more Members of the Commission constituted by the Chairman to conduct viva-voce / interview for selection to the specified posts.
Requisition
has the same meaning as in Rule 13 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servant (Appointments, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1989.
Requisition Form
means the requisition form as prescribed by the Commission.
Test
has the same meaning as assigned to it in Rules 3 and 6 of the North-West Frontier Province Public Service (Functions) Rule, 1983 and includes Screening Test, Aptitude Test, General Knowledge Test, Subject Test (related to post and qualification) or any other test.
